West 5th Craftsman Bungalow
BLENHEIM ST./WEST 7TH BUILD
This once-beautiful example of the Vancouver Early Craftsman Style home had been subdivided, compartmentalized and overbuilt beyond recognition. This glorious relic, built in 1912, was a prime candidate for demolition after a century of weathering, wear and tear. Happily the ownership of the building contacted custom home builders Kitsilano Construction and Design to revitalize and preserve this unique piece of the city’s architectural history.
WEST 65TH BUILD
The rebuild of this 1926 character home was a unique challenge for our custom home build team. Kitsilano Construction and Design worked carefully with the homeowners to take this once proud example of the Vancouver Craftsman style and pull it into the 21st century, holding onto the essential design elements of the era and original architectural base.
WEST 5TH CRAFTSMAN BUNGALOW
The owners of this 1926 Craftsman Bungalow were looking to take this dark, compartmentalized space and change it to a light filled, open home perfect for entertaining and living. Sharing their vision with the custom home builders at Kitsilano Construction and Design, this traditional Craftsman home was brought into the 21st century. With a design focused on bringing natural light to the space and preserving the classic elements of the building, we were able to provide a modern update on a traditional theme.
